The research group aims to investigate text reading and text comprehension, as well as language processing during these cognitive activities. It currently develops theoretical and experimental studies on the following topics: 1) syntax/prosody/comprehension, 2) linguistic processing, 3) memorization and reading comprehension, 4) word recognition, and 5) relationships between Brazilian Sign Language and Brazilian Portuguese.
