The research group focuses on internationalization policies and language policies, management processes and monitoring of strategic planning for internationalization, as well as on language teaching-learning tools aimed at internationalization in higher education institutions. With the expansion of government initiatives for internationalization and language teaching in Brazilian higher education institutions, universities have invested in internationalization policies and institutional language policies. However, such policies alone do not guarantee their implementation. The research group investigates how these policies have been organized, the needs and structures in place at the higher education institutions, and how to plan and implement these policies more efficiently.
