The research group focuses on an inter/transdisciplinary dialogue between Applied Linguistics, Social Sciences and discourse theories, especially those based on the works of Michel Pêcheux and the Bakhtin Circle. Topics of interest include: discourse functioning in political, institutional, artistic, literary, philosophical, media and pedagogical instances; discursivities in teacher training and language teaching-learning; production of teaching material and discourse; decoloniality and knowledge production; discourse processes in mother tongue and foreign languages; subject constitution, representations, subjectivities, and discourse memory. The group proposes theoretical interfaces and epistemological extensions that allow theoretical-methodological rearrangements in/through the analysis of different corpora.
